Vince Gotera (The Tattooed Man Showing Off His Girly Tattoos) was born and raised in San Francisco but also lived in the Philippines for some time as a young child. He now lives in Cedar Falls, Iowa with his wife Mary Ann and their four children. Vince is the editor of the North American Review and is an English professor at the University of Northern Iowa. He also runs <FLIPS@uni.edu> ... a listserv for Filipino writers. Vince thunks bass guitar and his favorite color is teal (or really any flavor of blue). Check out Dragonfly ... a book of poems.
