Richard Downing

"I have published a novel, The Waking Rooms, as well as many short stories and poems, and have won the New Woman short story contest, New Delta Review's Matt Clark Prize for Poetry, and Omnibus's poetry award. Recent publications include Potomac Review, Left Curve, Tacenda (featured poet), and The Barricade. I often write about politics and the environment and am founder of Save Our Naturecoast, a group dedicated to saving what remains of Florida's coastal wetlands. I want to think poetry can change the world."
