Lynn Strongin
Lynn was born & raised in New York City, attended Hunter College. After studying musical composition, she began writing poetry, moved to the west coast, worked briefly for  Denise Levertov, took a wokshop under Robert Duncan and has since published twelve books. Her latest, REMBRANDT'S SMOCK, is due from Plain View Press, Austin, in 2007. She has several nominations for the Pushcart Prize. Work forthcoming in Prairie Schooner, The Literary Imagination, New Works Review, Right Hand Pointing and others. One NEA Creative Writing Grant, two PEN grants.
