It was the release of all those red black and yellow balloons.

It was the sound of 50,000 feet trip-tripping over the bridge.

It was the placards that read Let's Walk Together, End Mandatory
Sentencing, Sorry.


It was the signatures on the petitions to give back the islands of
Clark, Little Dog and Goose.

It was all those people who stretched from East to West

that made the wind drone through the railings of the bridge
like the thrum of a didgeridoo.
