Angela Costi ("The Yellow Circle"): "My poetry and writing have been published, broadcast and produced, nationally and internationally, including LINQ, Hecate, Southerly, Meanjin, Radio National - ABC, Australasian Drama Studies (UQP), Divan, Studio, Cordite, Overland, Sojourner (US), Neos Kosmos (Greece), Arena, Famous Reporter, Imago and International Women Playwrights Conference 2000. Prayers for the Wicked, my manuscript, is currently being considered by several publishers.

"I freelance full time as a writer and editor which involves completing many writing commissions for various organisations (for example, Melbourne City Council, Geelong Courthouse Youth Centre and City of Greater Dandenong). A highlight was the mini poetry collection on the art piece, Charity, for the National Gallery of Victoria (2001). "My Cypriot heritage and travels to the Mediterranean, particularly Cyprus, Greece and Spain, influences quite a lot of my writing. In 1995, I received a national travel award to study Classic Greek theatre, this entailed studying and performing Ancient Greek plays in several amphitheatres throughout Greece."
