Michael Karl (Ritchie), "Basho's West-Coast Journey"

Michael Karl (Ritchie) has three small-press publications of poetry: "For Those in the Know," "Night Blindness," and "Closing Down the Hearth." He has served as translation editor for the "Mid-American Review," and currently serves as advisor for "Nebo," the Arkansas Tech University literary magazine. His recent work has appeared in "Sojourn" and on-line in "The Arkansas Literary Forum." These poems, "Basho's West-Coast Journey," come from a larger manuscript about China and Japan.
