Jennetta Baker was born in Antigua, West Indies many springs ago. Wintered in
London, England for fifteen years, summers in the East Bay since 1983,
though she did hibernate in Philadelphia and New Jersey for four years. She
is presently a fifth grade teacher with the Oakland Unified School District,
but would rather trade it in for a writer's life. Jennetta is in the final
stretch of completing a Masters in English at Cal State Hayward, and hopes
to see her works published in the not too distant future.
