A.D. Ross ("Swimming") lives in northern California. Her fiction has appeared in various literary journals, among them Hayden's Ferry Review, Ascent, Wisconsin Review, Sycamore Review and Prairie Schooner; and in the anthologies The Time of Our Lives and Breaking Up is Hard to Do. She was also the recipient of a California Arts Council Literary Fellowship.
